We are a niche real estate brokerage firm that specializes in representing only the finest in ranch, plantations, and high quality properties in the southeast. Of the over $390,000,000 in sales since 2010, alone, some of the most notable include the 124,000 acre Rock Creek-Molpus sale (largest land sale in Southeast for eight years), Greenwood Plantation, Longpine, Southern Heritage, the Governor of Alabama's plantation, the 1,000 acre Dickerson Bay on the Gulf of Mexico, just to name a few. Our model is unlike other brokerages and is based on client advocacy and an extreme emphasis on national/international marketing and due diligence specialization. We are founding members of LandLeader which currently has over $1B in listings and a combined annual marketing budget of over $1.2M to promote our properties. Our principles have a Juris Doctorate, two Bachelors in real estate, and a Masters. This is a lifelong career. We are extremely knowledgeable in conservation easements having sold, donated, and developed them, and our own plantation, Lick Skillet, is under a conservation easement. We not only broker land but live the lifestyle ourselves and manage our own timberland, ranch, and hunting lands.
Jon Kohler is one of the most respected land brokers in the southeast. This is the 25th anniversary of his niche practice that specializes in selling plantations, ranches, and high quality properties. He is a member of both the Florida and Montana Bar and has brokered deals in ten states including record-setting sales such as the Rock Creek/Molpus sale of 124,000 acres, Greenwood Plantation for the first time since 1899, the 70,000 acre A-Cross Ranch in Saratoga, among others. He is a founding partner of both Plantation Marketing Group and LandLeader® ($1.3B in listings) which have a combined annual marketing budget of over $1M and has forever changed the way land is marketed. Since 2010 alone, he has closed over 190,000 acres. He shares a passion for land stewardship along with most of his clients. He and his family own a conservation property south of Thomasville on the Aucilla River where they also raise grass fed Angus.
