Hooking Bull Annex

Sporting Gallery

The property's name sake, Hooking Bull Lake, is a large seven acre deep water lake exceptionally well-built and professionally managed for superior fishing. In fact, it's probably one of the best fishing lakes that we have represented in the last 25 years. The floodable duck pond looks like it is right out of a magazine and lined with beautiful live oaks.

As many know, Hooking Bull was annexed to Honey Lake Plantation and Resort. Of all 4,500 acres or so that they had, the owners reserved the deer hunting here for themselves, and the turkey hunting is so good, it is where Jon Kohler hunted for one of the Georgia-Florida Turkey Invitational hunts where he competed against 50 other plantations. The Little Aucilla is a gem of a river and offers multiple conservation easement opportunities from either sale or donation. Contact us to discuss.
