Erica earned a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate from the Florida State University College of Business.

Her entire professional career has been devoted to the advisory, sales, marketing, and valuation of high-quality land.

In February 2005, Erica was recruited by Jon Kohler & Associates to lead the Centerville Conservation Community sales program as Director of Sales for Centerville, where it quickly rose to be recognized as one of the top conservation communities in the country.

From there, Erica assumed the role of Director of Sales for Jon Kohler & Associates, the Southeast's leading authority in the brokerage of high-quality land. She is a recognized expert in land valuation and also oversees the firm's valuation department. Erica maintains one of the most comprehensive proprietary databases of land sales in the region, with detailed records of nearly every transaction in the Red Hills, most sales in the Albany area, and other significant high-quality land sales across North Florida and South Georgia, dating back to the early 2000s. Today, she is regularly consulted by appraisers, institutional buyers, investors, and discerning landowners seeking an accurate understanding of the market.

In 2008, Erica was appointed Vice President of Jon Kohler & Associates. Erica and her husband and business partner, Jon, have closed more than $1.25 Billion in land sales, firmly establishing the firm as the leading high-quality land brokerage across all seven major plantation belts. In 2014, she became a partner in the firm.

Erica and Jon have two sons, Greyson and Ashton. Together, they own and steward Lick Skillet Plantation, located south of Thomasville, Georgia, and east of Tallahassee, Florida. The property is actively managed for wildlife habitat, timber, and hunting, and features more than 1.5 miles of frontage along the pristine Aucilla River. One of the largest privately held tracts on the Middle Aucilla, Lick Skillet Plantation is protected in part by conservation easements with Tall Timbers and the Suwannee River Water Management District, reflecting the family's long-standing commitment to land stewardship and conservation.
